SmartWorks MFP Software

With an all-new GUI, the SmartWorks MFP software brings an updated look and feel that enables the operator to easily execute large-format scanning and copying from the touchscreen system controller. With a simple to use interface and "scan-it-once" ability, this software allows for efficient batch scanning and helps to create high quality scanned images. You can scan to PDF, TIFF and JPEG file formats. SmartWorks MFP software is now more efficient than ever before.

Z36 Scanner

The light weight and compact Z36 scanner incorporates a SingleSensor Technology Assembly3, which helps provide consistent and better color accuracy with more detail in the shadows and highlights than a staggered CIS array scanner.

Fast Print Speeds

The TZ delivers up to 4 D-sized prints per minute and up to 244 D-sized prints per hour via fast processing speeds with the implementation of parallel processing combined with increased carriage and cutter speeds. These new technologies allow for the 1st print out time to be is as fast as 19 seconds.

Top Output Stacker

Stack up to 100 ARCH E sheets on the TZ Output Stacker. Canon's advanced airflow system helps reduce paper jams and keeps prints neatly in place. The sheets are delivered face-down for privacy and printed material can then be easily retrieved from the front of the printer saving valuable office space.

Wi-Fi Compatible

Printing jobs quickly is critical on the work site and in the office. The Wi-Fi connectivity can transfer technical drawing files and help speed up your workflow- perfect for high-volume printing. No Wi-Fi router is needed, which can provide greater freedom during installation. Wi-Fi connectivity is standard for the imagePROGRAF TZ Series printers.

500GB Hard Drive

Direct Print Plus (DPP)

Batch print files and monitor the status of more than one device for extremely efficient production printing. Easily share and/or print, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, HP-GL/2 files and .cpfx PosterArtist files through the user-friendly interface. In addition, you can set-up hot folders on your desktop by clicking the Shortcut Print feature. DPP allows you to simply drag and drop files for on demand printing with improved rendering speeds that are 60% faster than Canon’s Direct Print & Share. You can even set up multiple folders, each with their own customized settings, allowing for multiple jobs to be run with ease. DPP obtains the essential information such as media width and remaining amount of media on the roll helping to streamline the printing process.

Canon Production Printing (CPP) Publisher Select

For flexible printing capabilities, the imagePROGRAF TZ Series can be printed to from CPP Publisher Select. You can manage printer status, ink and media levels and receive warnings when ink is running low or the media is empty. This software also has dual printer support, ability to view printer features all on one screen, and templates you can create for frequently used job settings.

TZ Printer Driver

The TZ Printer Driver allows users to print to any imagePROGRAF TZ Series device, without the need to install additional drivers for each model. This helps make it a hassle-free installation process for multiple devices within the same environment.

Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager software serves as a powerful feature that can help users accurately manage printing costs and other information that is increasingly important in today’s economic environment.

With the Accounting Manager software you can track how much ink and paper is being consumed when printing in large format jobs. Costs can be assigned to ink and paper to determine expenses based on your own "Cost of Goods". Each individual ink tank and each paper type can have its own cost associated to it. The user can also input a variable cost that will be added to the total of the print cost. The data is exportable to a .csv format for Microsoft Excel® so the data can be used for billing purposes. This feature will allow you to determine the cost of each print based on your actual cost.

AutoCAD Optimized Printer Driver

This specialized driver is compatible with a variety of AutoCAD software products and helps enable optimal printing productivity and reliability from the AutoCAD software. The module has a user-friendly interface that includes familiar features such as free layout, test printing, and 1200 dpi rendering. This module is automatically loaded when printing is attempted from AutoCAD, helping to ensure a smooth workflow with optimal printing results each time.

Device Management Console

This software allows users to continually monitor information such as the printer status and colors being used to print. It also allows printer administrators to centrally control multiple networked printers at once. This utility software displays the acquired printer information in a neat list for easy visibility. Printer administrators can be notified via email when an error or warning occurs. No more hassles to get to an installation site of a printer to check on the amount of ink remaining. Printer administrators can now simply check the amount of consumables remaining for networked printers by operating DMC software from their own personal computer.
